I recall from an earlier phone call a couple years back that Jay Horak, the guy that used to own AE (recently sold to another company) developed the tool for BMWs that he raced.

Anybody have any experience with AutoEnginuity that can point me in the right direction? Or point out a reasonably priced scan tool that you have used on a similar focus? Any help would be greatly and forever appreciated. The Ferrari/Maserati package from Autoenginuity includes all coverages for other cars. So just to make sure I put the original key in to make sure it starts and nothing! I have somehow erased my only good key and I am at a loss. I unhook the scan tool and put the original key in and it starts up so I know Im good but just for grins I try one of the new keys and it don't work. A lot of you tube videos later I still haven't gotten anywhere with this so I decide to hang it up for the night. I got an error code saying the keys weren't erased and the system was busy so it was start all over and wait another ten minutes. I got into the PATS programing part of the scan tool and waited the ten minutes for it to unlock the PATS system and hit the button to erase the keys and program new ones. Not wanting to go through this again, I decided to use my Auto Enginuity scan tool to program the two new keys. Long story short I bought two new keys and wound up tracing my steps only to find the original. So after so long the inevitable happened and I lost the key due to it falling out of my pocket when I pulled my keys out that are on the key ring. The plastic tip of the key broke so you cannot put it on a key ring. I have an 07 focus that only came with one key when I bought it. Hello everybody, long time lurker, first time poster.
